Give Help
Harvest
Many communities make food collections and donate to the food bank at Harvest and these collections help see us through the coming winter when demand in our community is highest.
Harvest Appeal with Shopping List 2025
As Harvest approaches, we’d love to invite our community to come together in supporting families and individuals facing crisis across the Stroud District.
The past year has been both challenging and encouraging for Stroud District Foodbank. With the incredible help of donors and supporters, we were able to provide 7,531 emergency food parcels (over 81 tonnes of food) to children and adults in need during our last financial year (April 2024 – March 2025). Whilst this is fewer parcels than the record high of the previous year, the need remains far above pre–cost of living crisis levels, and sadly many households continue to struggle.
That’s why your support this Harvest is so important. Whether through donating food, fundraising, or spreading the word, together we can make sure no one in our community has to go hungry.
We’d also love to invite you to our Foodbank Open Day at our warehouse (Unit 19, Canal Iron Works, Hope Mill Lane, Brimscombe, Stroud, GL5 2SH):
Thursday 23rd October, 10am–4pm
Saturday 25th October, 10am–12pm
These sessions are a great chance to see the foodbank in action, learn how your support makes a difference, and also a good opportunity to drop off Harvest donations.
Below you’ll find our Harvest poster to help spread the word. If you or your group would like any other resources or a tailored poster or if you’d like one of our team to come and share more about the foodbank, please just drop us a line.
Together, as a community, we can continue to meet this need with compassion and hope.
